The Dead Pixels Society attended the IPIC International Print and Imaging Conference from Aug. 3-7, 2025, at the Red Rock Resort in Summerlin, NV. This annual gathering of photo retailers drew more than 300 attendees from around the world and a trade show packed with the latest output options.

The IPIC conference featured an extensive University educational program, covering topics on marketing, social media, online sales, outsourcing, and more. Once again, film processing and related products and services were a hot discussion point. At the tradeshow, exhibitors like Cinestill, Colenta Labotechnik, and Indisposable provided new products and technology to keep the film market robust. Meanwhile, online service platform providers like Photo Finale, PixFizz, and Dakis all boosted online ordering and tracking capabilities.

On the digital side, UV printing is gaining popularity, with LogoJET and Lexjet offering on-the-floor solutions. With more than 90% of IPI members providing digitization and archiving services, solutions for this market were very popular, too.

In this video, we talk to members and vendors about the trends shaping photo retail. The resurgence of film, the expansion of output choices, and innovative products were just a few of these topics. This video features Fujifilm, Colenta Labotechnik, LexJet, Epson, DKS, Photo Finale, Indisposable, and more.
